What I'm Working On

A snapshot of what I'm currently building, learning and thinking about.

This page changes over time. It's less about my complete career history and more about where my attention is right now.

Building

Data Infrastructure & Intelligence: I'm currently working on systems that transform raw e-commerce information into structured data and business intelligence. The interesting part is increasingly moving beyond collecting data toward understanding what can be learned from it. SARA is the current center of that: a reusable retrieval architecture, still active development.

Exploring

Data Science for Market Intelligence: how statistical analysis, machine learning and AI-assisted approaches can be applied to marketplace data.

Learning

M.Tech in Data Science: I'm pursuing an M.Tech in Data Science through BITS Pilani WILP. I'm using the program to strengthen the theoretical side of what I already encounter practically: statistics, machine learning, data analysis and modeling.

Thinking About

01

Better Data

More data does not automatically mean better decisions.

02

Faster Decisions

Engineering execution is often limited by how quickly the right decisions can be made.

03

Ownership

Giving someone responsibility without giving them decision-making authority creates bottlenecks.

04

Engineering Triage

Good engineers do not treat every problem as equally urgent. They identify what matters, what can wait and what requires immediate action.

Writing

I'm currently writing about engineering, data, decision-making and the practical lessons I learn from working on real systems.

Career Direction

I'm increasingly interested in roles where data is not simply processed but used to explain what is happening, identify patterns, predict what might happen next, and support better decisions.

Curious about the details?

See the systems I've shipped, or the early experiments that haven't become projects yet.
