Engineering Decision Simulator
Scenario: fetch 50,000 product pages within a 4-hour maintenance window. Pick an approach.
What is happening?
Each approach has a realistic sustained request rate: slower, safer approaches make fewer requests per second but carry less risk of getting rate-limited or blocked, which resets the clock further than a purely slow-but-steady pace would. The completion time is real division (50,000 ÷ requests/sec), not a made-up estimate.
Under the Hood
Approach selection↓Completion time = 50,000 ÷ approach's request rate↓Compared against the 4-hour deadline

- 4-hour deadline
Processing
- Rate-based time-to-completion calculation
Output
- Completion time
- Pass / fail against the deadline
- Risk notes
